List of works:

Hello! It's a fine autumn day and a good place for an introduction:

I've been working for ten years as an "outlaw" composer of music that could be described as modernist or avant-garde style: "style" being a problematic word in the current pluralism, "outlaw" standing for the history of self toughtness in my activity as a composer, and the drive to originate my compositional, or textural techniques from the interaction and dialogue with the history and styles of musics I run into in musichology studies and other places of intrests.
The self toughtness of my compositional existence has went through a change, since I started studies with the composer Eero Kesti this autumn. However the aspect of do-it-your-self, or the situation of "bull in the china shop" of western art music will always be there as a personal input.

In case somebody is intrested here is the list of my works (not including my work in bands, since thei have their own venues of information):

- Tomi J.E. Pekkola
